Jesus spent his entire ministry actively involved with groups of people. His most consistent group was himself and his 12 closest friends often called the 12 disciples. They did life together in a way that we at M4:19 believe is the best way to live life. Every member of M4:19 should desire to be a part of a group just like the group that Jesus was a part of. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for every human being to experience the same group life that Jesus experienced.
Jesus often gathered together with large groups of people. Sometimes these groups of people were his dedicated followers, sometimes they were interested future participants, and sometimes they were skeptical detractors. We too believe there is value in gathering together large groups of people just like Jesus did. Our gatherings will look similar to Jesus gatherings involving; prayer, training, teaching, fellowship, and vision casting. Just like Jesus our gatherings are open for anyone to attend…current followers, those interested, and doubting skeptics.
Jesus believed in the power of getting away with his closest followers for times of focus and renewal. Many times he would take his followers to a new location away from their normal environment to create opportunities for spiritual growth. We too believe there is great power and effectiveness in having M4:19 followers getting away from their normal environment to experience times of heightened spiritual growth. M4:19 will offer specific getaway opportunities throughout the year for its followers to experience God in new and exciting ways.
